Ronald L Dietz

Ronald L. Dietz, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Lake Placid, Florida. He was born on December 22, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Lee J. and Annabelle (Townsend) Dietz. Ronald proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He spent his career in the automotive industry as a leasing agent. He moved to Lake Placid in 2006 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Placid and the American Legion. He enjoyed restoring Ford Mustangs and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Ronald was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife: Alice M. Dietz-Lake Placid, FL; son: Robert T. Dietz (Nancy)-Schaumburg, IL; daughter: Kimberly Ann Groover (Jeffrey)-Hixson, TN; four grandchildren: David, William, Ryan, Hilary; two great-grandchildren: Annabelle and Jack; sister: Elaine Hunter (Phil)-Castro Valley, CA.
