Ronald L. Carnes

Mr. Ronald L Carnes, age 87, a life-long resident of Sebring, FL, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 in Sebring, FL.  He was born January 26, 1935 to Charlie and Minnie Belle Carnes of Sebring, FL.  He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Sue Carnes, preceded in death by his son Randy Carnes, daughter is Beth Shaw and her husband Jeff Shaw; grandchildren Cody Santee, Kristen Santee and Jonathon Carnes; great grandchildren Jorgia Santee and Jace Randall Santee.  Ronnie was a Veteran serving in the US Air Force.  He retired from the US Postal Service and then worked part-time for the Supervisor of Election Office. He was a member of The Eastside Christian Church in Lake Placid.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and family time.  A visitation will be held at 10 am at the Chapel located at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park with a grave side service to follow.  Donations to be made to Eastside Christian Church, Lake Placid, FL.
