Roland Hodge

Roland "Billy" Hodge, age 67 passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 in Avon Park, Florida. He was born in Mullins, South Carolina to Russell and Charity (Branch) Floyd. Mr. Hodge was a Retired Sergeant for the Department of Corrections in Desoto County; he was a member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Avon Park. Mr. Hodge enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycling and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 10 years-Maryann Hodge of Avon Park, Florida; David Hodge (Belinda) of Lake Placid, Florida, Bryan Hodge (Michele) of Avon Park, Florida and Elizabeth Myers (Chad) of Grand Ridge, Florida; brother-Paul Branch (Kathryn) of Bennettsville, South Carolina; grandchildren-Katie, Kristoffer, Wade, David Wayne, Savannah, Brianna and Wilson; 2 great grandchildren-Cheyenne and Lilliana. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor George Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Bougainvillea Cemetery.
