Roger Kenneth Wilde

Dr. Roger Kenneth Wilde, age 91, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ralph and Margaret Hymer on April 27, 1934.  He grew up in Boise, Idaho on his parents’ dairy farm. Dr. Wilde was a resident of Sebring since 2001 coming from Jacksonville, FL.  He liked to teach, loved people, and enjoyed sports, especially golf.  Roger also played baritone for the Highlands County Concert Band.  He was a loving, caring man who could be found at his favorite restaurant, Oscars.

Roger is survived by his wife, Kathryn Wilde of Sebring, FL; children – Janet Townsend (Brad) of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughters, Amy Crimi and Kristina Jones; Grandchildren – Katie, Julie (Mike), Michael (Hope), Kristi (Aaron), Kayla (Cory), Elexie, and Michael; Great-Grandchildren – Reuben, Shepherd, Brielle, Kierstyn, Ryder, and Zoey.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents as well as his beloved daughter Karen.
