Roberta Sue Harding

Roberta Sue Harding passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 78 after a brief illness.  Roberta, known as Robbie or Pepper to her family, was the daughter of Harold Gurland and Charlotte (Schatz) Gurland. She was born on March 31, 1945 on Long Island, New York.  Roberta was a spirited, creative and adventurous child, and retained those qualities throughout her life.  She was also a professional woman, working in Manhattan as a human resources recruiter for decades.  After retirement, Roberta returned to one of her childhood loves, music, writing her own compositions and performing them on her keyboard for audiences on the West Coast of Florida. Roberta also enjoyed quiet times at home cooking, reading, decorating, as well as telling detailed and often hysterical stories about life.  Roberta was unique, cultured, beautiful and knew how to enjoy life to the fullest.  She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, her niece Judy Corn and her family, and her nephew Michael Corn and his family, 3 grand-nieces and a nephew. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Bonnie and her brother-in-law Lester.
