Robert Oscar Weiler

Robert Oscar Weiler, age 93, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on February 28, 1923 in Clarence, New York to the late John and Elvira (Cummings) Weiler. Robert spent his career in the school system as a Teacher and Band Master which he thoroughly enjoyed.  He moved to Sebring, Florida in 2007 and attended St. Agnes Episcopal Church. He loved the piano and could play just about any instrument. He loved his family dearly and has gone to be with his wife who was the love of his life. Survivors include two daughters: Deborah McGinn-Tytler-Sebring, FL, Mary Jane Soren-Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one son: Robert Anthony Weiler ( Flora)-San Francisco, CA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Marie Weiler and brother: Richard Weiler.  A funeral service was held on Monday, January 16, 2017 and Father Charles Cannon officiated.  Mr. Weiler’s body was interned at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Florida.
