Robert Kent Sasher

Robert Kent Sasher, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Sebring, FL. He was born on December 3, 1938 in the District of Columbia to Bert Campbell and Elizabeth Lockhard (Spencer) Sasher. He  worked as a golf professional, attended First Baptist  Church in Avon Park, proudly served his country in the US Air Force, during the Korean conflict, and has been a resident of Sebring for 10 years, coming from Herndon, VA. Robert enjoyed dancing, golf and flying airplanes. He is survived by his loving wife- Katie; children- Margaret Myers (Robin) of Tallahassee, FL; Robert Scott (Gia) of Clearmont, FL; Teresa Edward of Englewood, FL; Kimberly Lester of Conway, AZ; Cynthia Abell (Sissy) of West Palm Beach, FL; brothers- William Sasher (Boddie) of Merritt Island, FL; Rodney “Ronnie” Sasher (Karen)  of Sebring, FL. Surviving are also 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2021 at  Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring . Funeral services will be held the following day at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Florida National Cemetery.
