Robert Glen Little, aged 91, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. Born on September 25, 1933, in Hammond, Indiana, Robert was the son of the late Oscar and Minnie Little. He and his wife relocated to North Fort Meyers, Florida twenty eight years ago and just recently moved to Sebring..
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Glenna Mae Little, with whom he shared many cherished years. Together, they built a legacy of love and family that continues through their children, Una Wendorf (Jim), Robert Gale Little, Melonie Marie Faber, and Penny Jo Little. Robert was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to thirteen great-grandchildren, each a testament to the warmth and dedication he brought to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Gary Glen Little, and his sisters, Wanda Chute and Nancy Draughen.
Robert spent his career as a skilled machinist at Commonwealth Edison Company, where his work ethic and dedication were well known. A master of his craft, Robert took great pride in his work, a commitment mirrored in all areas of his life. His faith was central to him; he attended Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring, FL.
A lifelong enthusiast of tools and handiwork, Robert loved repairing and restoring things, an expression of his generosity and care for those around him. He also enjoyed traveling with his family, creating countless memories through shared adventures that his loved ones will treasure forever.
Remembered for his dedication, hard work, and generous spirit, Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness. His family and friends will miss his unwavering presence and steadfast support, but they will carry his memory in their hearts always.
A service to honor Robert's life will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Maranatha Baptist Church, 35 Maranatha Blvd, Sebring, FL. Visitation starts prior to the service at 9:30 AM.
