Robert Wilfred Higgins

Robert Wilfred Higgins, age 69, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Sebring, Florida.  He was born on August 22, 1946 and raised in Sebring, Florida to the late William V. and Catherine (Bisson) Higgins.  Robert was a veteran serving with the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.  He was a member of St. Agnes Episcopal Church. He was a Master Plumber for 40 years in Sarasota, FL where he raised his family and owned a Plumbing Business.  Some of his favorite past-times were shooting pool with his kids; coffee time at the Palms Diner where he enjoyed talking politics. He was a lifelong Buccaneers fan. Robert loved his family dearly and his dog Toby.  Survivors include his wife, Brenda Higgins, children, Brian Higgins; Paul Higgins; David Higgins; Sarah Perkowski, step-children, Brandt Leah, Cheyenne; Barbara and Sara, brothers, David Higgins and Richard Higgins and sister, Joan Hart.   There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 9, 2016, 3:00 p.m., at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
