ROBERT CARL HEMBERGER Robert Carl Hemberger, 82, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Avon Park, FL. He was born August 10, 1927, to Carl S. and C. Frances (OMalley) Hemberger in Buffalo, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1989, coming from Williamsville, NY. He was an Insurance and Real Estate Broker; was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy and of the Roman Catholic faith. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and an associate member of Pinecrest Country Club and a member and past Board of Directors member of the Buffalo Canoe Club. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Elizabeth Hemberger of Sebring; daughters, Gail Elizabeth (Robert) Loder, Rabun Gap, GA; Pamela Frances (Peter) Propis, Atlanta, GA and Kathleen Susan Cowan, Sebring; sons, Robert Carl (Susan) Hemberger, Jr., Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada and Michael Arthur (Mary-Lynn) Hemberger, Niskayuna, NY; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in his memory to the charity of choice.
