Robert Walter Heisey

Robert Walter Heisey, 74, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012, at his home. He was born February 17, 1938 to Walter Eugene and Catherine (Karr) Heisey in York, Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State with an Associate's Degree. He served as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and was of the Lutheran faith. He was the owner and operator of a garment company and held various positions with Dallco Industries from 1960-1998. He was involved in numerous social organizations, including the local chapter of the Eagles in Sebring. After moving from York to Sebring in 2003, he enjoyed fishing and taking his wife traveling with the "Fun Bunch". He is survived by his wife, Shirley Heisey of Sebring; daughters, Sharon Morgan of Connecticut; Karen Kirmeyer, Sebring and Sherry Leiphart, York, PA; son, Harry Kirmeyer, Red Lion, PA; brothers, Jack Heisey and James Heisey, both of York, Pa; sister, Arlene Grimm of York; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
