Robert Flohr (Bob), 99, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 19, 1917 to Oscar and Frances (Butsch) Flohr. He graduated from Milwaukee's South Division High School in 1938. He took various college courses in transportation. He was employed for 44 years at Nordberg Manufacturing Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the Shipping & Receiving Department and retired in 1979 as a Transportation Analyst. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan, both parents, one brother and two sisters. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Marion L. Flohr (Pagel); loving father of Gordon (Diane) Flohr of Greenfield, Wisconsin and Ronald (Joy) Flohr of New London, Wisconsin; proud grandfather of Heather, Ryan, Sarah, and Greg and great-grandfather of Ethan. After retirement he wintered at Crystal Lake Club in Avon Park, Florida and served as its first HOA President. He was a lifetime member of West Allis, Wisconsin Masonic Lodge and a 32nd degree Freemason. Memorial service will be held at St. John United Methodist Church, 3214 Grand Prix Drive, Sebring, on Friday, February 24th, at 11am. Visitation and lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
