ROBERT EUGENE EVANS Robert Eugene Evans, 90, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, in Sebring. He was born April 4, 1921, to Harmon R. and Margaret (Schoft) Evans in Huntington, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, moving from Indianapolis, IN, where he had lived for 31 years. He was Vice President of Sales for Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Co. for 37 years and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a Mason for over 50 years and a member of Murat Shrine; Avon Park American Legion and Sun N Lake Golf and Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Harriet L. Evans of Sebring; son, Robert Patrick Evans and daughter, Kristen Anne McKinley, both of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Brian, Doug, Scott and Charlie and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
