Robert P. Cappel, age 86, passed away on February 20, 2014 in Sebring, FL. He was born on April 17, 1927, in Elderon, WI, to the late Henry R. and Elsa L. (Plowman) Cappel. He has been a resident of Sebring since 1985, coming from Wittenberg, WI. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring. He is survived by his wife: Irene E. Cappel; children: Kevin (Mary) Cappel - Winona, MN; Karen (Walter) Wolfe - Sebring, FL; brothers: Donald (Gerda) Cappel - La-Luz, NM; Darrel (June) Cappel - Wautoma, WI; sister-in-law: Eloise Cappel - Wittenberg, WI; grandchildren: Nic (Tashia) Cappel and Carly Cappel. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry R. and Elsa L. Cappel and brothers: Neal and Richard Cappel. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 1:30pm at St. John United Methodist Church, with Reverend Ronald DeGenaro, Jr. officiating.
