Robert W. Burdick

Robert W. Burdick passed gently unto his Lord to join his recently departed wife, Shirley J. Burdick, on December 27, 2017.  He resided at The Palms of Sebring.  He is survived his son, Gary L. Burdick of New Town Square, PA; daughter Tina L. Quick, of Durham, NC; and son, Lann K. Burdick of Camp Hill, PA.   He has 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Robert was a communications specialist, who served twenty years in the U.S. Air Force, rising to the rank of E-6 technical sergeant.  He also led communications efforts for the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, where he was on staff for fifteen years.  For several years he owned and operated Classic Label & Printing Co. in Lemoyne, PA.  He is Past Master of Westshore Masonic Lodge in Camp Hill, PA and past president of the Sebring Golf Association.  Robert is a published author, having written the Golfer's Guide to Kenya.  He was an avid golfer, computer enthusiast, Little League Baseball Head Umpire, and unabashed jokester. He and his wife Shirley were members of the Lake Josephine Baptist Church in Sebring, FL.

Mr. Burdick was the son of Josie and Willard Burdick of New Berlin, N.Y.

A joint Celebration of Life Service for Robert and Shirley will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 2 pm at The Palms Assisted Living Facility at 725 S Pine St, Sebring, FL. The family suggests that brightly colored clothing would be appropriate attire.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Palms of Sebring.
