Robert Park Bugbee

Robert P. Bugbee of Sebring, Florida passed away peacefully March 10, 2025 after a short illness. He was 93. Born in Connecticut Oct 1, 1931 to Richard C. Bugbee Sr. and Mary Bibby, he graduated from Old Lyme High School and then joined the Airforce where he served from 1951 to 1955 including overseas duty.  Bob became a long time resident of Florida where he was a journeyman meat cutter and moved up to be an Inspector for the Dade County Consumer Protection Division from 1969 until he retired in 1993.  He was an avid golfer and his many friends include his fellow golfers and motorcycle enthusiasts. He was a lifetime member and served several years as director of the Highlands Ridge Road Runners Motorcycle Club.
Bob was devoted to his many cats.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Dottie), also preceded in death by Deloris the mother of his children, his brother Richard C. Bugbee Jr. and sons Robert P. Bugbee Jr. and Michael Bugbee.  He is survived by his daughter Valerie (Tim) Booth of Minnesota, son Tom (Tami) Bugbee of Kentucky as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by many including his brothers' wife, children and families. There will be no services.
