Robert Edward Bruce

Robert Edward Bruce, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Sebring, FL. He was born on August 26, 1939 in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Jewell and Edith (Scheffler) Bruce. Robert had been a resident of Avon Park since 1992 having come from Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Machine Repairman. Robert was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed fishing with his son Rick, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Robert is survived by his wife: Kathy Bruce of Avon Park; his sons: Tim (Brenda) Watson of NY; Rick (Beth) Ray of Gulfport, FL; grandchildren: Evan Ray; Cole Ray; Kristen Watson; Danielle Watson; and sister: Betty (Ed) Noble of MI. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL.
