Robert L. “Bob” Lynch, 82, was born on August 25, 1944, in Lynn, Massachusetts, and passed away on February 27, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. Bob lived a life defined by love, loyalty, strength, and deep devotion to his family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy P. Lynch, and his parents, John L. Lynch and Eleanor Louise “McLaughlin” Lynch. Bob built a life rooted in commitment, integrity, resilience, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his sons, John Lynch (Soraya), Robert Lynch, and Patrick Lynch; his grandchildren, Christian and Stheffany; and his great-grandchild, Logan. He is also survived by his brothers, William “Bill” Lynch (Patricia), Tobin “Toby” Lynch (Linda), and Joel “Joe” Lynch (Lynne); as well as his nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Scott, Kerri, and Christine.
Family was the heart of Bob’s world and the source of his deepest joy. For over 50 years at Cobbetts Pond in Windham, New Hampshire, time seemed to slow as laughter echoed across the water and simple moments with family and friends became lifelong memories. He found fellowship and belonging as a devoted longtime member of the Wakefield Elks Lodge, where stories were shared, bonds were
strengthened, and friendships endured. Even after retiring and settling in Florida, he carried with him the love, laughter, and connections that had shaped his life — treasures he held close, no matter the distance.
Bob will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.”
