Robert "Bob" L. Williams

ROBERT L. BOB WILLIAMS Robert L. Bob Williams, 85, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009, in Sebring, Florida. He was born January 9, 1924 in Vincennes, Indiana, and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1993, coming from Bloomington, Indiana. He was employed by a Propane Gas Company in delivery and transport; participated in the restoration effort in Hawaii after the Pearl Harbor attack and was a member of Rainbow Apostolic Church in Sebring. He is survived by his Wife, Edith Penny Evans Williams, of Avon Park; Sons, Steve (and Janie) Williams, Greencastle, Indiana and Rick (and Linda) Williams, Avon Park; Daughter, Rita (and Larry) Sims, Avon Park; six Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Rainbow Apostolic Church, Sebring, Pastor Fred Edwards, Rev. Steve Williams and Rev. Larry Sims officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Placid, Florida will take place immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Mr. Williams to Rainbow Apostolic Church, 2213 Rainbow Avenue, Sebring, Florida 33870.
