Bob is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Avon Park, a lifetime member of the Adelphic Lodge No. 509, and a past member of the Oshkosh Noon Rotarians, Oshkosh Country Club and of River Greens Golf Course. Bob was employed by Oshkosh BGosh Corporation and retired after 34 years in 1986 as Vice President of Advertising/Merchandising. After retirement Bob and Marilyn made their home in Avon Park, Florida and enjoyed their time golfing at River Greens Golf Course and meeting many new friends. Remembered as a funny, kind and gentle man, Bob loved to garden, fish on Lake Winnebago and of course golf. He will be sadly missed but his passing will remove the suffering he has endured these last years. The family will like to give special thanks to all those in the River Greens Community that helped in so many ways during his illness, both for Bob and Marilyn. And to the church family for all the support they have given for so long. There will be a memorial service in Bobs honor announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1326, Avon Park, Florida 33826. Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. www.stephensonnelsonfh.com
