Rita M. St.John

Rita M. St. John, age 71, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born February 25, 1950 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Clara (Buchheit) Schimp.  Rita has been a resident for five years coming from Erie, PA and was of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, and live theater.  Rita is survived by her Children – Denise (St. John) Hammons (John) of AL; LeAnna (St. John) Paul  (Joshua) of TX; Siblings – Abbie Schafle of FL; Theresa Zeelsdorf of NC; Butch Schimp of TX; Grandson – Nathan Hammons.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00pm at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the Save-A-Pet at the Dothan Animal Shelter, PO Box 9323, Dothan, AL  36304.
