Richard William Young

Richard William Young, age 70, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Lorida, Florida.  He was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 13, 1954 to the late Richard Lewis and Jacqueline Helen (Gardner) Young.  Richard had been a resident since 1987 coming from Hollywood, FL was of the Christian faith and was a general contractor.  He loved the outdoors, camping and his family.  Richard was very patriotic, proud of his native American heritage, and loved weapons.  As a contractor, he was a hardworking man and built a lot to building in the surrounding areas and Disney.  He was a devoted husband and father.  Richard is survived by his Wife – Dee Young of Lorida, FL; Children – Teresa Davidson (Alex) of Avon Park, FL; Samantha Davidson (Scotty) of Ft. Myers, FL; Melissa Vidaurre (Suzette) of Houston, TX; Sister – Helen DePrimo of Land o Lakes, FL; seven Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his Sister – Ann-Marie Berry.
