Richard Bradyn Roberts

Richard “Bradyn” Roberts, age 20, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025.  He was born May 26, 2004 in Sebring, Florida to Rick Roberts and Amy (Henderson) Roberts.  He joined the Army on September 26, 2022, and underwent One Station Unit Training with B Troop, 2nd Squadron, 15th Cavalry Regiment at Fort Benning, GA.  He graduated on April 21, 2023, as a 19D, Cavalry Scout, and joined Crazy Horse Troop, 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment (1-4 CAV), 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.  While at 1-4 CAV, SPC Roberts was assigned to Rooster Platoon, where he served as a Bradley Driver.  He was promoted to his current rank on September 26, 2024.  He participated in two Squadron gunneries, multiple field training exercises, and most recently, the National Training Center rotation 25-03 and 25-04.  His list of awards includes an Army Commendation Medal, the Army Service Medal, and the Driver and Mechanic Badge with Tracked Vehicles.  Bradyn attended Bible Fellowship Church and has been a lifelong resident of Sebring, Florida.  Bradyn is survived by his Wife – PFC Elizabeth “Lizzy” Roberts; Father – Rick Roberts; Mother – Amy Roberts; Brother – Jason Roberts; Sister – Ryleigh Roberts; and Grandfather–Rick Roberts, Sr. (Linda).  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 12 Noon with family receiving friends beginning at 10:00 AM at Bible Fellowship Church.
