Richard A. Ripley

Richard A. Ripley, 70, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 06, 2013. He was born January 11, 1942, to Edward and Cecile (Downey) Ripley in Ogdensburg, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 2006, coming from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was a Sales Representative for an automotive tools and equipment company and a former firefighter in Phoenix, New York and Bakers Fire Company in Monroe, North Carolina. He was an avid square dancer; loved radio-controlled cars and enjoyed NASCAR, dogs and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Ripley of Sebring; son, Brian (and Kimberly) Ripley, Prospect, CT and two grandsons, Steven and Jason. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Stephenson-Nelson Chapel, Sebring, with W. Mike Adams officiating.
