RICHARD M. MOORE Richard M. Moore, 72, of Avon Park, FL, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009. He was born April 30, 1937 to Clare and Anna (Fowler) Moore in Milo, Maine. He had been a resident of Avon Park since 1997 coming from Hampden, ME. He worked as a claims manager for Commercial Union Insurance Co. in Bangor, ME. He graduated from Husson College in 1959 where he played basketball and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1991. He was an avid golfer and member of Highlands Ridge Golf Club. He is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Cynthia H. Moore Avon Park; Daughters, Cheryl Michaud (Bill) Hampden, ME; Patty Green (Chip) Apopka, FL; Son, Rick Moore (Lucienne) Hampden, ME and 8 Grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:00am at Founders Hall in Highlands Ridge.
