Richard V. Metzger, age 90, of Sebring, FL, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born September 13, 1926 in Ashland, OH to Elmer Verling and Glorene (Buzzard) Metzger. He worked in retail sales, enjoyed golfing and bowling, loved music and singing and had been a member of several quartets. Richard especially loved the Lord and his family. He was a member of Sparta Road Baptist Church in Sebring, FL and has been a resident since 1976, coming from Montana. He is survived by his Wife – Lee Metzger of Sebring, FL; Sons – John Metzger (Jean) of TN; Michael Metzger (Pamela) of Sebring, FL; Step-Daughters – Deborah Hart (Douglas) of OH; Susan Breeze (Walter) of OH; and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife – Jean Metzger; and Daughter – Julie.
