Richard W. Mathiasen

Richard W. Mathiasen, age 76, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013, in Sebring. He was born January 26, 1937, to Walfred and Dr. Helena Mathiasen, in Long Island, New York, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1994, coming from Hyde Park, New York. He was employed by IBM as a Repair Technician; served in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime and was of the Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Mathiasen of Sebring; daughters, Jean Mathiason O'Donnell, Fishkill, NY and Linda Mathiason, New Bern, NC; sons, James Mathiasen, Wappingers Falls, NY and Timko Mathiasen, Alaska; sister, Liz McKinnon, Winder, GA; brother-in-law, Donald Tilliets, Palatka, FL; grandchildren, Amy (Chris) O'Donnell Eddy, NY; Angela Lozowski, NC; Andrew O'Donnell, NJ and Timothy Mathiasen, NC and great-grandson, Landon Michael O'Donnell.
