Richard John Lawrence

Richard John Lawrence, age 80, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.  He was born April 9, 1943 in Burlington, Vermont to Wayland H. and Amy E. (Armstrong) Lawrence.  He worked as a machine operator for IBM, of Catholic Faith, served in the U.S. Air Force, member of NAFCA – the Cherokee and Wilderness Chapter, and has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1993, coming from Richmond, Vermont.  He was an avid reader, loved to camp, loved the Atlanta Braves, NASCAR and was a good husband and father.  Richard is survived by his Wife – Patricia M. Lawrence of Sebring, FL; Children – Robert W. Lawrence of Essex, VT; Richard J. Lawrence (Sherrie) of Ferrisburgh, VT; Pamela Vosburgh of Essex, VT; Cathy Brace of Colchester, VT; Raymond Miller (Carla) of Richmond, VT; 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; and Close Personal Friend – Jane Koch.  He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters – Geraldine Mitchell (Santerre); Kay Donaldson; Emily Racine; Brother – Waylond “Bud” Lawrence (Barbara).
