RICHARD NELSON HOUSEKEEPER Richard Nelson Housekeeper, 93, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 in Sebring. He was born October 15, 1916, to Ernest R. and Olive E. (Gatewood) Housekeeper in Gary, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1982, coming from Northford, CT. He was an Organic Chemist in the Paint and Synthetic Resins industry and was active with various musical organizations. He is survived by his son, Thomas E. Housekeeper, Tecumseh, MI; daughters, Judith Kay Brett, Houston, TX; Rosemary Hostler, Kent, OH and Jean Hainer, Anchorage, KY; sisters, Jean Autrey, Santa Barbara CA and Dorothy Martin, Tucson, AZ; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Frank Hainer officiating. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, will be immediately following the service.
