RICHARD LEROY HAAS Richard Leroy Dick Haas, 89, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Sebring. He was born March 28, 1922, to Jacob and Ola (Hicks) Haas in Delta, Ohio, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1991, coming from Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant of the 329th Infantry, 83rd Division. He was a Superintendent in the Construction industry; a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon, Ohio and a past member of the Elks Lodge in Wauseon. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean Haas of Sebring; children, Sandra (Charles) Jerzak, Apex, NC; Susan (Pete) Marti, Brostow, VA and Steven (Pamela) Haas, Wauseon, OH; brother, Donald Haas, Delta, OH; sister, Doris Link, Fayette, OH; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
