Richard David Esler

Richard David Esler, born on December 26, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, peacefully passed away on June 17, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. He was the son of the late Clyde LeRoy and Inez Lorene Esler. He has been a resident of Sebring since 2012, moving from Aurora, Illinois

Richard was a devoted father, survived by his children Tom Esler of Sebring, FL, Laurie Witt of Winter Haven, FL, Jeff Esler (Annette) of Kansas City, MO, and Brian Esler (Annette) of Naperville, IL. He was also survived by his brothers Marvin Esler, LeRoy Esler, and Mark Esler. Richard leaves behind a legacy of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings Sue Esler, Mary Esler, Phillip Esler, and his son, Richard Esler Jr. His memory will live on through his family and all those who knew him.

A successful business owner, Richard was a dedicated and patient man who approached life with a competitive spirit and intelligence that inspired those around him. He found joy in reading, watching movies, and cheering on his favorite football teams.

Though he may no longer be with us, Richard Esler's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
