Richard John Banko, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in Sebring, FL. He was born on July 20, 1952, in Meriden, CT to Edward and Margaret (Hudon) Banko. Richard worked as a computer technician and book author. He was an avid online gamer, was of the Baptist faith, and a resident of Sebring for more than 24 years. Richard enjoyed golfing, fishing, and scuba diving. He is survived by his loving wife Marsha; children Peggy Hudson(Paul) of Cullman, AL; Ashley Hester(Phyllis) of Enterprise, AL; sisters Beverly Case and Patty Steven’s of Connecticut; five grandchildren Bryana Bradley(Jason) of Cullman, AL; Emily Johns(Zane) of Hartselle, AL; Jordin Hester(Hector) of Hanceville, AL; Alex Hudson of Cullman, AL; Alex Harris of Enterprise, AL; five great grandchildren Landon, Toliver, Rinnoah, Kairi and Sylvie, and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing. He was proceeded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held at 11AM until service time at 12PM on Saturday, March 19th, 2022, at Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home with Brenton Lopez officiating.
