Reba Anders Cornelius, 71, of Sebring, Florida, passed away August 30, 2025 following a long battle with dementia. She was born July 24, 1954 in Corbin, Kentucky to Price and Alma Anders. She was a graduate of Whitley County High School.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Cornelius of Sebring, FL; daughter, Erin Cornelius Marshall and son-in-law, Michael Marshall, of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Toni Cornelius of Sebring, FL; grandchildren, Makenzie and Ethan Marshall, of Knoxville, TN; sister, Brenda Harp, of Alma, GA; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Reba’s life revolved around her family. She enjoyed singing, making people laugh and helping any way she could. She enjoyed worshiping with her church family when she was able. She was previously a home health nurse and then a librarian’s assistant for many years at Whitley North Elementary.
Reba’s song on earth may have ended, but the music of her life echoes in the hearts of all she knew. She chose to donate her body to the University of Tennessee Department of Anthropology. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
