Raymond E. Korb

Raymond E. Korb of Avon Park passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Born in Syracuse, N.Y. in 1919. He had been a resident of Avon Park since 1987 coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL. He retired from the Broward County School Board as a maintenance employee; a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a 50 year plus member of Onondaga Lodge No. 802 and a protestant by faith. He is survived by his children: Diane Weisman of Fort Lauderdale, FL., and Ronald E. Korb of Lake Placid, FL., three grandchildren: Debbie Costello of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ronald E. Korb, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C., and Jessica Korb of Lake Placid, FL., and three great-grandchildren.
