Ray Ford, age 80, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born March 21, 1933 in Arcadia, FL to Lawrence E., Sr. and Juanita (Alderman) Ford. Ray was preceded in death by his Wife - Katherine. He will be sadly missed by his Daughters - Karol Knorr and Janice Gibbs; Grandchildren - Kimberly, Cole, and Jilly; Great Grandchildren - Sole` and Cali Rae. A casual Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at his residence in Lake Placid, FL. The family would like to thank the Good Shepherd Hospice and staff for all of their assistance. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice of Highlands County, 1110 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL 33870.
