Ray S. Eckiss

Ray S. Eckiss, age 96, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Sebring, FL. He was born on April 5, 1926 in Lancaster, IL to Harlan Arthur and Fannie Mae (Brewer) Eckiss. He  worked as a Telecommunications Engineer, and was of Lutheran faith. Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and has been a resident of Sebring since 1990, coming from Marion, Illinois. He is survived by his loving children, Ronald Eckiss (Kay) of Marion, IL; daughter, Virginia Kay Biggs of Carterville, IL. Surviving are also 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
