Randy Thomas Farless

Randy Thomas Farless, age 57, of Avon Park, Florida, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 1, 2026. He was born April 22, 1968 at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan to Alvin and Elizabeth (Davidson) Farless. Randy retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force in 2015 after serving for 26 years and 26 days as a 2T2 and First Sergeant. He has been employed for the Highlands County School Board since 2015 where he was a teacher at Avon Park High School, Highlands Virtual School, and Avon Park Middle School, and the Boys Head Swim Coach at Avon Park High School.  He is a member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. He is survived by his Wife – Tina Farless; Daughter – Kristen Farless; Son – Joshua Farless; Brothers – Billy Farless; and Garry Farless. He is preceded in death by his Parents; and Brother – Larry Farless. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM with family receiving friends beginning at 4:30 PM at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Avon Park High School Swim Boosters, PO Box 796, Avon Park, FL  33826 or Avon Park Middle School SGA, c/o Avon Park Middle School, 401 S. Lake Ave., Avon Park, FL  33825.
