Ralph Donald Myers

Ralph Donald Myers, age 82, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020
in Celebration, Florida following a short illness. Born on October 29, 1937,
Don was the son of Ralph A and Maggie B Myers. He was an insurance
agent for State Farm Insurance in Elizabeth City, N C from 1963 to 1982,
and in Kill Devil Hills, NC until 2007. He was a member of the First Flight
Lions Club, an avid golfer at Duck Woods Country Club, and enjoyed surf
fishing on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Upon his retirement, Don and
wife Willie Faye relocated to Avon Park, Florida in 2008. He enjoyed every
day to the fullest with his Highlands Ridge Family. He attended St John
United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his
children, Betsy Marsh, Donny Myers, Rose Mary Gibbs, and step-son Rick
and wife, Lori Godfrey, and their families.
