Ralph James Meier

Ralph James Meier, age 82, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012 in Sebring, FL. He was born in Merrill, Wisconsin on June 1, 1930 to Henry and Alma (Krueger) Meier. He was Sales Manager for CIBA-Geigy, an ag-chemical company and retired after 24 years; Member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Avon Park; served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict; he was a member of Delta Theta Sigma; he enjoyed traveling and was a good husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Joan Meier, Sebring; sons, James (Teri) Meier, Sebring and John Meier, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; brothers, David Meier, Milwaukee, WI, Kenneth (Faye) Meier, Merrill, WI, Leroy (Nancy) Meier, Merrill, WI,; Sister, Marilyn (William) Popp, Beaver Dam, WI; 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Avon Park, FL with Pastor John Grodzinski officiating.
