Preston R. Little, age 94, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on October 10, 1922 in Allegheny, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Preston and Anna May (Cunningham) Little. Preston proudly served his country with the United States Marines 4th Division during World War II as a Private First Class from 1942 to 1944. He was stationed at the Marshall and Philippine Islands. He was wounded in action and awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He spent his career as a Telecommunications specialist with Southern Bell. Survivors include his son: Charles Preston Little, II of Sebring, FL, two grandchildren: Elizabeth Little Sigman (Timothy) of Jupiter, FL; Charles Preston Little, III of Lutz, FL, great-grandchildren: Christopher Sigman; Madeline Sigman; Sarah Little and Justin Little. Preston was preceded in death by wife, Sara Hill Little and sister, Mildred Wagman. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, November 3, 2016, 11:30am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
