Prentis L. Rice

Prentis L. Rice, age 65, of Sebring, FL passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017.  He was born October 15, 1952 in Sebring, FL to the late Freddie Lee Livingston and Peter Rice.  Prentis graduated from Sebring High School, Class of 1970.  His hobbies included cooking, gardening, and had a love for animals.  In November of 1985, he married Linda (Dewberry) Rice and was a devoted step father to her 7 children – Toshia, James, Levi, Kevin, Dionne, Craig and Connie.  They remained married for 27 years.  Prentis leaves to cherish his memory his Siblings – Julia Callahan (Stanley) of Philadelphia, PA; Henry Rice of Charleston, SC; Marqueita (Livingston) Stewart of Temple Hills, MD; Debbie (Rice) Hopkins (Gary) of Newburgh, NY; Sherita A. Hollinger of Sebring, FL; Sister-in-laws – Ruth Hollinger of Sebring, FL; René Hollinger of Miami, FL; devoted Wife of 27 years – Mrs. Linda Rice; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and special friends.  Prentis has been preceded in death by Siblings – Mary Alice Rice; Herbert Rice; Peter Rice, Jr.; Charles Livingston; Keith Hollinger; Maurice Hollinger; and Frank Hollinger.  Memorial services held Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home.
