Phylis Ann Bursma, age 82. passed away on May 3, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on November 14, 1941, in Harnett County, North Carolina, to the late Buren L. and Annie L. (Brock) Brown. She was a resident of Sebring, FL since 2004, coming from Three Oaks, MI.
Ann was a loving wife to Richard W. Bursma Jr. and a devoted mother to her children: Sherry Trucks (Pat), Kimberly Buursma (Steve), Rhonda Priest (Wayne), Stephanie Fahey (John), and Adam Bursma (Jessica). She cherished her role as a mother and took great joy in watching her children grow and thrive. Ann is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren who brought her immense happiness and pride.
Ann was a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse, a profession she truly loved. She touched the lives of many through her work, always showing kindness and patience to those in need. Her commitment to caring for others was truly remarkable and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Known for her kind and giving nature, Ann was described as adventurous and dedicated by those who knew her best. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, reading, traveling, and camping. Her family was her most precious treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Ann had a special bond with her beloved dog, Bailey, who brought her comfort and joy.
Ann leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and compassion that will continue to inspire those she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
