Phillip L Elkins, age 68, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Sebring, FL, He was born on October 18, 1955, in Clewiston, FL. He was a life long Floridian. Phillip was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Whitney, survived by his loving wife Tracy Marie Elkins, his children Tina Elkins, Terry Elkins, Debra Jo Reese, Anthony Morvant, and Bryant Morvant, his brother Ronnie Elkins, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He shared a special bond with each of them.
Phillip proudly served in the Army, demonstrating his commitment to his country. His sense of duty and honor shone through in every aspect of his life. He was a dedicated City Worker for the city of Tampa, where his hard work, patience, and friendly demeanor left a lasting impact on his colleagues and community. Outside of work, he found joy in riding motorcycles, camping under the stars, and soaking up the sun at the beach. One of his true passions was fixing and building bicycles, which led him to own a successful bike shop.
Phillip's love for life extended to helping others, making him a pillar of support for those in need. His positive outlook on life was contagious, and he approached every task with dedication.
Phillip L Elkins will be remembered for his dedication, hard work, friendliness, and his commitment to helping others.
