Peggy Poulos

Peggy Poulos, age 64, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. Born on July 31, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois, Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late John and Dianna Poulos. Peggy was a woman of deep compassion and warmth whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.

In 2018, Peggy relocated to Sebring from LaGrange, Illinois, bringing with her a vibrant spirit and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was a proud member of the Greek Orthodox faith, and her values were reflected in her kind and nurturing nature.

Peggy is survived by her loving companion of 14 years, Joe Cwik, who stood by her side with love and dedication. She will be deeply missed by her devoted children, Joseph Mahoney (Haley) of Hoffman Estates, IL; Tiffany Antrim (Alec) of Algonquin, IL; and Candice Hoppie (Brad) of Illinois; her siblings, Gus Poulos of Wisconsin, Teresa Poulos-Liotta (Eric) of Illinois, and Lisa Fee (Ron) of California; and her cherished grandchildren, Ariana, Mea, Toby, Kerrigan, and Cole, who were the light of her life.

Her home was filled with love, laughter, and the joy of her beloved Yorkies, P.J. and Bailey, as well as her pet birds, Sonny the parrot and Ziggy the cockatiel. Peggy’s zest for life was evident in her love of social gatherings and sharing meals with friends. Her kindness and generosity were hallmarks of her character, as was her impeccable grace and class.

Peggy had a remarkable talent in the kitchen, creating delicious meals that brought joy to her family and even her pets. Above all, she was a dedicated grandmother and mother who poured her heart into caring for her loved ones, showing a boundless and selfless love that will forever be remembered.

Her legacy is one of kindness, thoughtfulness, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Peggy touched the lives of everyone she met with her fun-loving, nurturing personality and will be deeply missed.
