Peggy" Nora O'Neill Ingmire, wife of the late John Ingmire, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the age of 92. She was the daughter of beautiful parents, Quincy L. and Mary Ruth O'Neill of Anderson, Indiana. The family moved to Miami, FL in 1935. She attended and graduated from St. Theresa Catholic School of Coral Gable, FL, as Salutatorian of her class. She worked for the Kemper Insurance Claim Office of Coral Gables, FL as secretary of Workmen Compensation. After raising a family of five sons they moved to Sebring, FL in 1978 for retirement days. In 1982 a tornado touched down in the Lake Josephine area that destroyed many homes including theirs. They rebuilt on the same site. They helped raise a second family of two grandsons to adulthood. Over many years Peggy participated in various volunteer programs serving those in need. In earlier years she was a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church since 1978. Peggy was the wife of the late John C. Ingmire for 65 years. She is survived by two of her five sons, Larry and Garry Ingmire identical twins, of Sebring and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 882 Bay St., Sebring, FL, with Father Victor Cavidedes, officiating on January 17, 2015 at 12:00pm.
