PEARLIE M. THOMAS Pearlie M. Thomas, age 98, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in Avon Park, FL. She was born in Oscar, Kentucky on September 3, 1913 to Thomas M. and Rosie (Butler) Wilson. She was a Homemaker, member of the First United Methodist Church in Frostproof, FL. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, canning and gardening; she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a resident since 1988 coming from Greenrock, Illinois. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Cruse of Sebring, FL; brother, James T. Wilson, of Sikestown, MO; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas, son, Billy M. Thomas and great grandson, Michal Shane Cruse. Visitation wil be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM with services following at 2:00 PM at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Colona, Illinois.
