Pauline Ruth Herr

PAULINE RUTH HERR Pauline Ruth Herr, 85, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011, in Sebring. She was born November 6, 1925, to Milton and Clara (Ohlmstead) Grant in Niagara Falls, New York and had been a resident of Sebring since 2007, coming from Carlsbad, California. She attended Moody Bible Institute and worked in Minnesota with Rural Area Missions. She served with SIM in Miango, Nigeria, teaching in boarding schools and represented SIM a Regional Director in the Pacific Northwest for 22 years. She is survived by her husband, John Samuel Herr of Sebring; daughters, Kathleen Joan Gage, Portland, OR and Dorothy Ruth Morse, Phoenix, AZ; sons, William John Herr, Show Low, AZ; brother, Noel Grant, Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at the SIM Chapel in Sebring. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Gerry Johnson officiating. Interment at Sarasota National Cemetery will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2011.
