Paul Neil Sweet

PAUL NEIL SWEET Paul Neil Sweet passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in Sebring, FL. Mr. Sweet was born in Mendon, MI on December 24, 1926 to Neil and Elizabeth (Stoll) Sweet. Paul was a school teacher, teaching for over 30 years in the Tekonsha, MI Community Schools System, where he also served as Athletic Director and sports coach. Paul had resided in Highlands County since 1986, coming to this area from Tekonsha, MI. Locally, Paul was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid, FL. Paul was a graduate of St. Johns Military School, after which he went on to serve in the U.S. Army during World War II, landing in Italy and finishing with the Occupation Forces in Berlin. Paul is survived by his wife, Lois Sweet; sons, Glenn Sweet (Laura), Nebraska; Michael Sweet, Oregon; Daniel Sweet (LiPing), Washington State; David Sweet (Susan), Florida; daughter, Kathleen Burk (Tom), Michigan; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
