Paul Wayne Stevenson

Paul W. Stevenson passed away on February 9, 2018. He was born in Lawrenceville, IL on January 2, 1934 to Ralph and Maudette Miller Stevenson. Paul was a resident of Avon Park, FL since 1994 coming from Effingham, IL. He proudly served his country as a Master Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He also held memberships in the Loyal Order of the Moose, V.F.W. and the American Legion. Paul is survived by his brothers James Stevenson of Effingham, IL and Bernard Stevenson of Louisville, KY; his niece, Cathy Followell also of Effingham, IL, and many loving friends that cared for him at home. He was preceded in death by his wife Claudia and his parents. A visitation will be held at the Stephenson Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park, FL on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM and the service will follow at 11:00 AM.
