Paul R. Jaeck, Jr., Sebring, Florida, passed away January 8, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Doris of Sebring and four cousins, who live in Maryland. Paul was born May 26, 1927, in Takoma Park, Maryland and lived most of his life in Chevy Chase, Maryland. His parents were Paul R. Jaeck and Agnes (Wallace) Jaeck, who lived in Sebring from the middle 70s until their deaths. Paul graduated from the University of Maryland in 1950 and was a founding father of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at the university. After graduation, he was an overseas auditor for the Internal Revenue Service and then a financial analyst for the Federal Home Loan Bank Board until his retirement in 1985. He then began wintering in Sebring and spent the summers traveling extensively throughout the United States and Canada in a motorhome with his wife. In 2001 they became permanent residents of Sebring. Paul was a Navy veteran and will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
